There are countless wacky theories that include the Moon. A few of the funnier:
- the Moon was installed into Earth orbit by space aliens.
- Nazis built a base on the Moon.
- space aliens use the Moon as a base of operations.
- the Moon has been terraformed, has a breathable atmosphere, and people live there now.
There is an utterly pathetic myth about the moon landing being faked… which it wasn’t.
Apparently, some people think the moon itself is a government conspiracy.
Bible doesn’t talk so much about the moon’s creation. But going with the flawed logic it just loves to talk about lets say it was made 6000 years ago too. Too bad we know it wasn’t.
As for paranormal, there is supposed to be an alien moon base on there.
Moon landing hoax theory is absurd and just stupid. Creationism doesn’t deal so much with the moon… lets not screw up out *entire* understanding of the universe. And for the alien base, that’s about as pathetic as the Apollo hoax theory. And the moon being a conspiracy within itself is just funny.
As for *scientific* (AKA “logical”) theories for the moon creation, the most accepted one is that the Moon is just a big rock that once belonged to Earth… all matter got flung into space, and then as a result of gravity and pressure, the moon made itself into a spherical shape.
Not sure, but the moon was created when an earth sized asteroid slammed into our planet some 3.5 billion years ago, and it is moving away from us at a rate of about 1 inch each year… say good bye to life on this planet when we lose it.
True, mean, and eccentric.
